Insights into Motivation, Communication, & Conflict Management Styles:
Relationship Awareness® & the Strength Deployment Inventory®

Organizational success depends upon the quality and effectiveness of the working relationships between its people. Conflicts that arise between people in the workplace can damage a healthy work environment and affect productivity. By providing people with powerful insights into the motivation behind behavior, Relationship Awareness® helps build better relationships both personally and professionally. As a certified Strength Deployment Inventory ® (SDI) Facilitator, Gail uses valid and reliable personal assessment tools to render quick and memorable results in a non-judgmental way. The survey instrument measures an individual's Motivational Value System® and compares individual motivation both in and out of conflict and helps improve understanding of self and team members with remarkable insights. The SDI is a catalyst for learning that participants remember and apply goes beyond behavior measurement and into the motivations and values that underlie those behaviors and the behavior's impact on others.

The SDI can be administered in a two-hour individual coaching session or in a full-day group retreat. It is a dynamic and powerful way of looking at human relationships that aids in building communication, trust, empathy, and effective, productive relationships to improve personal and team performance. The applications of the SDI include building awareness of self and others, leadership development, team building in all stages of development, conflict management, sales training, and dispute resolution.

"After interviewing each of our team members during the weeks prior, Gail introduced the Strength Deployment Inventory (SDI) at our annual staff retreat. With her usual energy and fun approach, we mapped each other's personality and learned how to work better with every other member on our team. Nearly a year after the retreat, many keep the chart on their bulletin boards for regular reference. This day that we spent learning about ourselves and each other has proven the greatest team-building exercise we've ever participated in, and we will repeat it annually."

"A+; Gail was awesome with lots of great ideas to take back to the office; she kept our attention and we had fun!; Fabulous! The almost 300 attendees were uniform in their views concerning your program. To say it was thoroughly enjoyed by all would be an understatement. I have no alternative but to have you return in the very near future. I not only share their views, I also enjoyed working with you in the planning phase of the program. I wish all presenters were as easy to work with as you."
